Kirk's Ferry prior to flooding - Lawson cottage

Thought to be the Lawson cottage taken from across the river. There is a new cottage built on the site now which is owned by the Greenberg family, orginally Nancy and Louis (nee Lawson) Greenberg. It would approximately be opposite Hellard rd. on the east side of the river. This image is from a collection of Kirk's Ferry photos was taken prior to the construction of the Hydro Dam at Chelsea built on the Gatineau River in 1927.
