GVHS Membership Application and Renewal

We encourage visitors to this site to become GVHS members to support our mission of preserving and promoting the heritage and history of the Gatineau Valley. A GVHS membership also makes a perfect gift.

As a GVHS Member you receive the following benefits:

  • The Society's annual journal Up the Gatineau!
  • The quarterly GVHS Newsletter containing Society news, events, and items of interest to the local heritage community
  • Access to the Society's growing collection of local archival records and digital resources.
  • Meetings and events with speakers on topics of local and national heritage interest.

Membership Fees (per family) are valid for the calendar year from January to December. You have the option of choosing a 1-year membership for $25 or a 2-year membership for $40.

New Members or changes to existing information, please print and complete the the membership application form and mail it to the GVHS - see address below.

Alternatively, you can add the registration information in an email and send to membership@gvhs.ca with "Membership Application" in the Subject.

There are three payment options:


Your transaction will be processed by PayPal where you can pay by credit card or use your PayPal account, if you have one.

An acknowledgement of the payment will be made.
