Churches and Places of Worship
Wakefield Methodist Church

Originally built of log, it was a meeting place even prior to the 1851 census. Dedicated as a Methodist Church in September 1864 in Wakefield, the building served the faitful for 61 years as a house of worship until church union in 1925. At that time it was abandoned in favour of a larger brick St Andrew's Presbyterian Church. In succession the building served a community hall until damaged by fire.
