St. Stephen's Anglican Church, Kazabazua

The first services in Kazabazua were held in 1870 by the Rev. William R. Brown in a log schoolhouse. In 1892 a room was fitted for Divine service and in the following year, land was obtained for the church and the congregation was officially formed. The church building was consecrated in 1900. The current St. Stephen's was originally of board and batten construction and the interior had tongue and groove wooden panelling. The outside was later covered with asphalt siding which about 1996, was replaced with aluminum. In 2001, St. Stephen's became a part of the parish of Wakefield-Chelsea-Lascelles.
