The Baldwin Farm at the south end of Meech Creek Valley, Cascades, as seen from the old wagon road, looking north. From left to right: the horse stable; the cow stable and stalls (white-roofed, L-shaped); lean-to used to feed outdoor animals in winter season; the hay barn (largest building); the chicken coop back in the field; the granary, built ca. 1845 (white roof); log residence, the first living space (in background, partially behind tree); the dry shed, for machinery, etc. (low building in front of trees); metal shed (attached to end of dry shed); wood shed (attached to house and behind metal shed); Baldwin farm home, built 1938-1941, and demolished in 2004.
