Here are some local trivia you may like to pursue. The answer are below:

Trivia Pursued! (Answers)

  1. On RR 105, in Chelsea between the new Plaza and the Pioneer Cemetery. Here was the Anglican Church and a mixture of rectories, manses etc.
  2. P.M. Lester B. (Mike) Pearson.
  3. To aid the tax collector to do his job despite the resistance of the angry Irish. Sometimes called The Battle of Brennan's Hill.
  4. Baldwin Valley.
  5. Approach road to the ferry of Kirk. (Kirk's Ferry)
  6. Yorkshire, England. Hull and Masham are both Yorkshire names. Chelsea is also an English name. But the Quebec Chelsea was named after Chelsea, Vermont.

  8. Thomas's is in the burial ground at Old Chelsea (but there's no proof he's buried there). Philemon's is in St. James Cemetery, Hull.
