In the THEN photo the rights of way of the original rail line and the relocated rail line are clearly visible on the west side of the river. Manitou Rapids, drowned when the river level was raised, can be seen in the THEN image.
In the NOW view, Fleming Road in Cantley is visible on the right bank. All of the low farmland upstream of Fleming Road was flooded when the river level rose behind the new dam.
