Up the Gatineau! Current Volume

2023 Update from the editor of Up the Gatineau!

I am pleased to announce that Volume 49 of Up the Gatineau! was published in June 2023 and is available at many local retailers in the Valley or by contacting the Society directly at publications@gvhs.ca.

This year’s volume showcases the writings of four first-time and six returning contributors, plus a poem chosen by our poetry editor, Paull Leamen. The selected online article for Volume 49 is “Our Cantley Bush Lot” by Hubert McClelland. It is also available online in French, with translation by M. Frèdelin Leroux, de la Société Pièce sur pièce. I would also like to announce that Les White is this year’s winner of the Arthur Davison Prize for his outstanding article in 2022’s Volume 48. Congratulations!
